Petit Jean State Park offers a literal crap-ton of hiking, an impressive 90 ft waterfall, a beautiful lodge, and some of the best sunrise/sunset views in the entire state. We also talk at length about getting our children engaged and involved with the great outdoors, as well as Petit Jean’s impressive collection of Mississippian-era indigenous rock art.

This show is my passion project, born of a traumatic set of circumstances that jarred me from a sedentary life and an apocalyptic worldview. With my jarring wake up call came a clean slate...both in my physical world, but also my mental and emotional world. Wayward Stories is my humble attempt to add value to this world through sharing my story...my journey...with the intent of prompting others to take their lives back into their own hands. My goals are simple:
1- Demonstrate to others who have experienced trauma that good CAN exist on the other side of bad...so don't give up.
2- Offer proof-of-concept that an exciting life full of adventure and self-expansion can be had by the everyday Joe like me...with an everyday job, and everyday budget and an everyday life.
